One-on-One Learning

In traditional Judaism, chevrutah  (partnered) learning is the most common methodology. Rabbi Gordy is ready to be your partner in exploring the Jewish texts of your choice, or in having him choose material according to what you want to learn, and what you level of learning is. This is appropriate for beginners through advanced learners.

Small Group Learning

Rabbi Gordy is available to teach small classes locally or on computer platforms (e.g. Zoom). You can put together the students and/or the topic, and he will help with the rest as well as be the teacher. Classes can be anywhere from a few weeks to a full semester or more, and can be on many different levels depending on class wishes.

Scholar-in-Residence

Whether for a Shabbat, a full weekend, or a single presentation, Rabbi Gordy is prepared to be a scholar-in residence for your group. He particularly enjoys relating textual material like the weekly Torah reading to ways we can incorporate those values into our everyday lives. He also enjoys looking at the psychological aspects of many of our patriarchal stories, and even has some radical interpretations of some.
